Dr. Andy Gaertner
Dr. Andy Gaertner was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. Having a father as one of the leading dentists of his country, he was exposed to high quality dental care from a very early age. This played a major role in the development of his personal passion and knowledge in dentistry.
After high school graduation he went to attend Nova Southeastern University in Florida where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) degree. Dr. Gaertner started practicing dentistry in the Southeast Florida area, followed by three years in his home country. He is now expanding his expertise as a Cosmetic and Family General Dentist in Miami.
The drive to guarantee the highest quality of care and to constantly grow is the force behind the attendance of multiple national and international continuing education courses and local study clubs. Dr. Andy Gaertner is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Super Series Seminar Study Club, as well as a board member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Gaertner is fluent in English, French, Hebrew, Dutch and intermediate in Spanish. which allows him to communicate and optimize care for patients from all around the world.
Dr. Gaertner also believes in complete health and balances his time with outdoor activities, proper diet, and continuous exercise. He enjoys the diverse musical vibe and cultural art that South Florida has to offer.

“Dr. Yoha” was born and raised in Venezuela. She attended Jose Antonio Paez University where she obtained her doctorate degree. Later on she moved to Miami and obtained her post-graduate degree in Advance Educational in General Dentistry after 2 years of Residency at the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Yoha is a dental practitioner continually acquiring skills in new areas of dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Latin American Academy of Osseointegrated Dental Implants (LAODI).
Dr. Yoha has the ethical, moral, and humanitarian character to treat the needs of patients. She is detail oriented and is interested to comply with honesty and responsibility. She has the diversity of functions involved to provide high quality dental care. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys creating content on social media.

Dr. Alberto Valencia
Dr. Alberto Valencia was born and raised in Jinotega, Nicaragua. He graduated from the prestigious Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Nicaragua (UNAM) Dentistry in 1972. Dr. Valencia migrated to the United States in 1981. He started working in private practice in Miami in 1991 until joining Bliss Dental in 2021. Dr. Valencia is a member of the Ceola-Helo Dental Association. He has held many high titles in the Nicaraguan American Dental Association (NADA), including president in the year 2000. Dr. Valencia is a sports enthusiast, loving all sports. He is an avid stamp collector and has a passion for music and spending time with his grandkids. Dentistry is his other big passion, and you will always see him smiling.
Periodontist
Dr. Kang
Born and raised in South Korea, Dr. Kang had the honor of attending Seoul National University Dental School, the most prestigious program in the country. Inspired by the fields of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, he went on to receive his specialty training in Periodontics from Seoul National University in 1996. After earning his certificate in Periodontics, he was determined to move to the United States He attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his second training in Periodontics and Implant dentistry. As a result, Dr. Kang is the only Periodontist who has completed a periodontal residency in both Korea and the United States. After eight years of his dedication and commitment to the University of Pennsylvania and Nova Southeastern University as an educator and a clinician, he opened his private practice in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Kang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the recipient of several teaching awards, including the 2005 American Academy of Periodontology Educator’s Award. He is a national and international lecturer in the field of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and an author of numerous clinical articles in authoritative dental journals.

Ariana is a Miami native, born to Colombian and Honduran parents. She has dedicated herself to the Dental Field because of her love for Patient Care. On Ariana’s off time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. She also enjoys kayaking and beach days. Dental Treatment Coordinator
Sandra was born and raised in Cuba. In 2016 she came to Miami for better opportunities. She has always had a passion for the dental industry. She recently completed her dental assistant training program, and is motivated to continue learning and expanding with her experiences in the dental field. Sandra’s main objective is to see that our patients feel ease and happy. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as watching movies.
Mariela
Dental Office Receptionist
Mariela was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. She has felt her vocation towards Medicine since she was little, so she was a first year medical student in her country before recently arriving to Miami. Now she wants to learn and improve herself at Bliss Dental. Her passion is children and in her free time she watches her favorite TV Show “Friends”. “I feel very grateful and blessed since entering Bliss Dental. It’s the best opportunity I could have ever asked for!’’
Karla
Dental Hygienist
Karla was born in Cuba, raised in Spain and came to Miami when she was 12 years old. She developed an interest for the dental field ever since she got braces and saw how impactful improving a smile can be. Karla graduated with honors from Miami Dade College’s dental hygiene program. Her hobbies are to go to the gym and spend time with family, friends, and her dog. Karla is looking forward to keep your gums as healthy as can be, as gently as can be.

Claudia is originally from Cuba. She has one passion in life, and that is to make your smile beautiful. She has over 10 years of professional experience and knows just how to make your smile bright and healthy. When she’s not doing a job she loves, Claudia enjoys spending time with her family and friends and having fun doing what she loves.

Dental Hygienist
Originally from Cuba, Roxana moved to the U.S. 8 years ago and has been passionate about dental care ever since. Her journey in the dental field began at the front desk of a dental office, where she developed a deep understanding of patient care. She then became a dental assistant, gaining hands-on experience, and eventually pursued hercareer as a dental hygienist. Roxana loves helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles, and nothing makes her happier than seeing the confidence that comes with a bright, perfect smile!
Suzy
Dental Hygienist
Susan has been a hygienist for the past 10 years. She obtained her Dental Hygiene degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2009. She went back to obtain her bachelor in Pre-Dental at New Jersey City University in 2013. She moved to Florida in 2013, and currently lives in Coral Springs with her husband and two kids. Suzy loves to take Continued Education Courses to stay on top of new materials and techniques to make her patients more comfortable. She is a firm believer in Soft Tissue Management and Patient Education to Improve their Oral Health.

Josue
Dental Assistant
Josue is one of our talented dental assistants. He was born and raised in Haiti. His inspiration for working in the dentistry field was his father, who was a dentist in his country. Josue graduated from Universidad Odontologica Dominicana as a Dentist. In 2018 he moved to Miami and continued his education at AAA School of Dental Assisting. He enjoys working side by side with the doctor and to make sure the patient feels comfortable during any dental procedure. In his spare time, Josue enjoys playing guitar and the piano.

Yeni is originally from Cuba, where she graduated dental school in 2020. In her free time she enjoys listening to music and cooking. She is also very dedicated to her family.
Treating patients with kindness and love is her main priority. For Yeni her goal is to keep on improving and growing with Bliss Dental Miami.
